Ponzi Scheme Kills

I think is a shame that anyone would feel so hopeless that they see the only way out as taking their own life.
Yesterday, one financier, R. Thierry Magon de la Villehuchet, apparently took his own life after realizing nearly the entire fortune that he was managing for clients had disappeared into the fifty billion dollar ponzi scheme created by Bernard Madoff.

While a large sum of money will no doubt be lost in all this, I hope no more lives are. No loss should be worth that.
